Southwest Plant Guide

This database for the Southwest Region of North America was compiled using the Advanced Query option in the United States Department of Agriculture PLANTS Database (http://plants.usda.gov/). To the best of our knowledge, it includes all the plant taxa for Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. The database has 10,727 records, and the 6.23MB web version may prove unwieldy for some processors. However, the database is available below for download in two formats: Excel (2.8MB) or Tab-separated Text (1.5MB). In addition, there are specific databases for the perennial taxa in each of the five time time periods covered by this project. Download links for these are found on each of the perennial taxa communities pages.
