Mission Statement:
The Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) was established
in 1995 as a unit of Arizona State University to:
• preserve
archaeological materials and related data,
• pursue research activities associated with the archaeological record
• conduct educational programs to disseminate knowledge of the past to Arizona's citizens.
ARI encourages and facilitates
Native American involvement and training
in curation management and museum operation.
