Gold Bar
The Spaniards melted down pre-Hispanic jewelry to convert it into gold bars to be taken to Spain as war booty. This gold bar was found during the construction of the Hidalgo Complex, exactly at the northern side of the park known as the Alameda Central, which in ancient times was the causeway leading to Tlacopan.
