ARI Faculty Fellowship

The Archaelogical Research Institute sponsors faculty fellows to expand ASU faculty involvement in the activities of ARI. The scheduling of active involvement is flexible. Partial summer salary (equivalent to one month summer salary or a maximum limit) is offered to support fellowship activities.

The following proposal topics are suggested, but are not limited to:

• research on ARI collections
• supervision of students to do research on ARI collections
• involvement with research methods of interest to ARI
• establishment of collections or methodologies to expand faunal, botanical, or other related collections
• new initiatives for future research

Current areas of ARI research activities include:

• materials analysis
• quantitative applications
• information management
• environmental impacts
• public outreach

Applications (a one or two page letter proposal) should be submitted to Dr. Charles Redman, ARI Director, Archaeological Research Institute, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ 85287-2402. Applications are not being accepted for this academic year.
