The Roosevelt Platform Mound Study (RPMS) was conducted between 1989 and 1997 by a team of researchers from Arizona State University. Fieldwork was performed between 1989 and 1993 at the 85 sites included in RPMS and an additional 44 sites in the Uplands. The purpose of the study was to examine the organization of Classic period platform mound complexes. The research investigated the dynamics of economic, architectural, and ceremonial practices as influenced by local traditions, emulation, and migration.
The following are summary tables of data generated from the Roosevelt Platform Mound Study research database.
The Roosevelt Platform Mound Study Data Appendix Tables have been previously published in the RPMS Monograph series. However, the Data Summary Tables for the Cline Mesa, Schoolhouse Mound Mesa, and Uplands Sites appear for the first time on this page and will not be found in the RPMS Monograph Series.
These tables are provided in multiple, downloadable formats: portable document format (.pdf) and tab delimited txt (.txt).
The Data Appendix Tables are organized by Management Group, material type, and by screened and un-screened contexts.
