Contents: Lithic Tool Attributes Analysis
Description: The tool analysis focused on determining edge morphology, since most of the tools recovered were informal tool types. Primary variables include edge angle, edge length, edge shape, amount of retouch, overall length, overall width thickness, and weight. Tools were broken down into eight informal and three formal tool categories on the basis of edge morphology or a combination of edge and artifact morphology. The eight informal categories include scrapers, denticulates, gravers, spokeshaves, choppers, utilized flakes, and hammerstones. The three formal categories include projectile points, bifaces, and drills.
