Collections from several major archaeological projects conducted in Arizona are curated and managed at ARI. The ARI Catalog is our central inventory of project artifacts, samples, archives, maps, and documentation. All collections curated by ARI are inventoried in a uniform, relational database system. Many of the functions of the catalog are for in-house use by ARI. However, portions of the catalog are searchable via the web.
The ARI collections are available for study by researchers and for loan to museums and other institutions for exhibit or research. Information on the specimens, photographs, maps, reports, and records from these projects is available through our on-line catalog.
Research and analytic databases associated with each project collection (electronic archives) are also available for research and portions of these are searchable on-line. (See section on Research Databases for more information).
*On-line access to ARI databases is currently only available using Internet Explorer.
