The "Chaco World" panel discussion is the concluding, public session of a 2 1/2 day invited conference on Chacoan great house communities. More than 100 of these communities are known in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. The public forum is designed to present the conference results and to encourage discussion and debate among the panelists and with the audience on topics concerning Chacoan social inequality, ethnic diversity, and violence.
Food and beverages will be served at a reception following the forum in the Anthropology Museum. We welcome your participation.

"The Chaco World" conference is one of a series organized by the National Park Service in order to re-evaluate our knowledge of Chacoan Society in the ancient Southwest (AD 900-1150). "The Chaco World" is sponsored by the National Park Service and by ASU's Department of Anthropology, Archaeological Research Institute, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Vice Provost for Research.
